The Balos RZ F1 hybrid belongs to the Sandissima line, a feature of which is the small size of the fruits and the presence of small edible seeds. The watermelon is intended both for sale on the fresh market and for use as a pollinator.

The fruits have a round-oval shape and a striped Crimson-type coloration. The average weight of one fruit is 2–3.5 kg. The flesh is crispy, red in color, with a sugar content of about 12 on the Brix scale.

The plant possesses strong growth vigor and developed foliage, which protects the fruits from sunburn. The hybrid is characterized by high yield and the ability to effectively set fruit both during early planting and at high summer temperatures.
