Variety description

10 August 2026

The Demre F1 hybrid, also known as Vizir F1, is a mid-early melon crop with a vegetation period of 68 to 75 days. The plant is characterized by vigorous development, a well-developed root system, and abundant foliage that protects the fruits from sunburn.

The fruits have a round-oval shape and weigh 12–15 kg. The rind color matches the Crimson Sweet type: light green stripes on a dark green background. The flesh is dark red, sweet, contains no coarse fibers or voids, and is characterized by a small number of seeds.

The hybrid is suitable for cultivation in open field and in greenhouses. The plant shows stress tolerance, adapting to conditions of extreme temperatures and moisture deficiency. The produce is intended for sale on the fresh market.
