Watermelon Ekinox F1 is an early or medium-early hybrid with a vegetation period of about 70–75 days. The plant has strong growth, a developed ability to form lateral shoots, and good foliage, protecting the fruits from sunburn.

The fruits have an oval shape, dark green rind with lighter stripes and a waxy bloom. The average fruit weight is 9–12 kg; the flesh is bright red, crispy, and sweet. The hybrid is characterized by good transportability and adaptability to growing conditions.

The plant is resistant to a number of diseases, including Fusarium wilt and anthracnose.
