Hybrid Melia F1 belongs to the Crimson Sweet type and is characterized by vigorous development of the leaf canopy. The plant has high graft compatibility and is suitable for cultivation in both open fields and under plastic covers or in greenhouses.

The fruits are oval in shape and have the coloration typical of the Crimson Sweet type, with a mass ranging from 6–8 to 8–11 kg. The flesh is dark red; the fruits possess a distinct taste and aroma, as well as good storage and transportability properties.
