The Melody F1 hybrid is an early-maturing triploid variety with a maturation period of about 79 days from planting. The fruits have a spherical shape and are characterized by uniformity and an intense rind pattern.

The weight of the fruits averages 14–16 lbs. The variety is characterized by a concentrated fruit set and is intended for commercial cultivation at the beginning of the season.
