The Miniazabache F1 variety belongs to the mini-watermelon group. The plant has good vigor, however, the use of rootstocks is recommended for effective cultivation.

The fruits have a very dark rind without a distinct pattern. The mass of one fruit is approximately 3.5 kg, and the flesh contains very few small seeds.

The variety is used in professional production as a multi-use pollinator for triploid seedless watermelon hybrids.
