Minipol is a diploid hybrid whose primary function is the pollination of seedless watermelons. The plant is distinguished by the abundant formation of male flowers, which ensures effective pollination, and flowering periods are synchronized with most commercial triploid hybrids.

The fruits of the variety have a round shape and light green rind. The flesh is light red in color, edible, and contains seeds, which allows them to be visually distinguished from the fruits of the main crop. The hybrid is suitable for cultivation both in greenhouses and in the open field.
