Variety description

10 August 2026

Sensei F1 watermelon belongs to very early hybrids with a growing period of 55–70 days. The plant is vigorous, with powerful foliage that protects the fruits from sunburn. The round-oval fruits have a striped color and an average weight of 7 to 11 kg.

The flesh of the fruit is intensely red, dense, crunchy, with a sugar content of 11–12% on the Brix scale. The hybrid possesses resistance to internal cracking, Fusarium wilt (race 1), and anthracnose (race 1).

Due to the firm rind and flesh structure, the fruits are suitable for long-term storage and transportation over long distances. The hybrid is intended for cultivation in the open field and under film covers for sale on the fresh market.
