The hybrid Susy F1 is mentioned in official vegetable crop catalogs as a watermelon variety Citrullus lanatus. During field trials conducted under the conditions of Southern Oltenia, a yield of 1.6 fruits per plant was recorded with an average fruit weight of 2.7 kg.

The term Susy in watermelon literature is often used as an abbreviation for the sucrose synthase enzyme involved in sugar accumulation, which does not refer to the characteristics of a specific variety.
