Variety description

The tree reaches a height of 3–6 meters in open field conditions; when grown in containers, growth is limited by pruning to 1.2–3 meters. The plant is evergreen with a rounded crown. The branches of the variety are virtually thornless.
The fruits are of medium size, approximately 6 cm, with an oval or slightly oblong shape, often with a small "nipple". The skin is smooth and thin; at harvest, the fruits are green, and they turn yellow upon full maturity. The pulp is juicy, seedless, with a balanced sweet and sour taste.
Fruit maturation occurs 90–120 days after flowering. The plant is sensitive to cold and is damaged at temperatures below -2 °C, and is also susceptible to citrus greening disease. The fruits are used in cooking, and in the production of juices and sauces.
