Variety description

The variety is the result of crossing the diploid mandarin Fortune and the tetraploid mandarin Kara. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth with an upright-drooping canopy type and dark green foliage.

The fruits have a flattened-round shape with a convex base. The peel is dark orange, thin and glossy, and easily separates from the flesh. The flesh is also dark orange in color and has a sweet and sour taste.

The variety is characterized by the absence of seeds in the fruits. Resistance to citrus canker and scab has been noted.
