Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a mutation of the Fairchild mandarin obtained by irradiation. The parent form was bred by crossing a Clementine and an Orlando tangelo. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and the almost complete absence of thorns. The fruits are located primarily on the outer part of the canopy.

The ripening period occurs in December; the fruit quality is maintained until the end of March. The medium-sized fruits have a deep orange, slightly rough rind; the flesh is juicy and sweet. The main feature is the low seed content: an average of 2.8–3.3 seeds per fruit.

The variety's pollen has very low viability, which reduces the likelihood of seed formation in the fruit of other citrus varieties when grown in proximity. The variety is intended for commercial cultivation.
