Variety description

The plant is a thick and dense evergreen shrub reaching a height of 1 to 1.5 meters. The leaves have a rounded shape and a characteristic glossy plum-brown color.
The variety prefers sunny locations or partial shade and well-drained soils. The shrub is heat-loving, capable of withstanding short-term temperature drops down to -5°C...-6°C; it requires protection during more severe frosts. It is used in container gardening, for patio decoration, and for creating borders.
