The plant reaches a height and width of 100–150 cm. The variety is relatively undemanding, shows drought tolerance after rooting, and prefers well-drained soils and sunny areas. Winter hardiness corresponds to level H3 (-5... +1 °C); in regions with cold winters, it requires protection or cultivation in containers.
Flowering is inconspicuous, flowers are white or greenish; the variety does not form fruits. It is used in ornamental gardening for creating hedges, borders, mixed plantings, and cultivation in patio containers.
