Coreopsis Starstruck is a compact plant 30–40 cm tall with a dense bushy form and sturdy stems that do not require support. The variety is distinguished by high disease resistance and does not require deadheading to maintain flowering.

The plant is intended for ornamental gardening, suitable for cultivation in containers, borders, and group plantings. The variety is adapted to poor, sandy, or rocky soils provided there is good drainage and attracts pollinators, while also possessing resistance to grazing by deer and rabbits.
