Variety description

The plant forms a compact bush with thin, thread-like, finely dissected foliage. Inflorescences 4–4.5 cm in diameter are characterized by ruby-red petal coloration with a white rim and a golden-yellow center. Plant height varies from 40 to 65 cm.

Flowering is prolonged, from early summer to September-October. The variety is sterile and does not form seeds. It possesses heat and drought tolerance after establishment, however, with an excess of fertilizers or lack of light, stems may lodge, and in some conditions susceptibility to powdery mildew is noted.

Winter hardiness corresponds to USDA zones 6–10. The plant is used in landscape design for borders, mass plantings, container planting, and cut flowers; it attracts butterflies and bees.
