Variety description

The variety has an upright, compact, rounded habit, reaching a height and width of about 1.5–2 meters. The leaves are dark green, almost black, with a grey velvety shade on the underside; towards autumn, the foliage color changes to a rich purple. In winter, the shrub stands out for its bright red branches.
In spring, the plant blooms with small white flowers gathered in corymbose inflorescences. The variety belongs to hardiness zones 3–7, adapts to different soil types, including moist ones, and tolerates both full sun and partial shade well. Spring pruning is recommended to maintain the decorative appearance of the shoots.
