The shrub is characterized by a dense multi-stemmed form and reaches a height and width of about 1.5–2 meters. In summer, the foliage is green, which changes to a lilac-red hue by autumn. Flowering occurs with small white flowers in June–July, after which whitish-blue berries ripen.

The plant possesses high winter hardiness (USDA zone 3, down to -40°C) and resistance to urban conditions. It prefers moist, loose soils and develops well in sun and partial shade. The variety is resistant to major diseases and pests.

Used for creating hedges, solitary plantings, and stabilizing shorelines and slopes. To maintain the brightness of shoot color and the compact form of the bush, it is recommended to carry out regular pruning of old branches.
