Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant is a deciduous shrub or small tree with a semi-upright crown habit and moderate suckering. The variety requires cross-pollination; suitable pollinators include the varieties Butler, Nocchione, Tonda di Giffoni, and Ennis.

The nuts are round in shape, with a medium thickness of the striped glossy shell and kernels with a small amount of fibers, which are easy to blanch. The variety is characterized by an early flowering period and high productivity, but is susceptible to gray mold (Botrytis cinerea) and the hazelnut mite.
