Variety description

10 August 2026

The plant has a high level of growth vigor and forms a vertical or upright crown. The variety is characterized by high fruit productivity.

Flowering of male and female flowers occurs very early. The variety is characterized by dichogamy of the protandry type, where pollen matures before the female flowers become receptive. The onset of fruiting occurs at intermediate times.

It originates from the southern regions of Italy. In literature and official documents, the variety is often mentioned alongside Campanica, Tonda Napoletana and Tonda Tempestiva, which may indicate their genetic relationship or belonging to the same cultivar group.
