Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 30 to 80 cm and forms a neat, compact bush. The flowers have a velvety texture, a deep red-brown shade, and a diameter of about 4 cm. The foliage is bright green, lighter than that of the wild species, and the root system is less tuberous and more fibrous.
The flowering period lasts from June to September. The variety shows resistance to diseases and pests, and due to its compact habit, it does not require staking. The plant is thermophilic, prefers sunny locations and well-drained soils; in cold climates, it is grown as an annual or requires digging up for the winter.
The variety is used for planting in flower beds, borders, and containers, and is suitable for cutting. The flowers possess a characteristic chocolate aroma, the intensity of which may vary.
