The plant is a fertile variety capable of producing viable seeds, which distinguishes it from older sterile clones of the species. The herbaceous perennial forms tuberous roots and reaches a height of 40–75 cm.
The flowers are characterized by a dark red, almost chocolate-brown hue and a distinct vanilla or chocolate scent, which intensifies on warm, sunny days. The plant is sensitive to low temperatures, and its tubers can be damaged by frost in regions with cold climates.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
