Variety description

The variety is a compact shrub 0.30–0.40 m in height with a crown width of up to 1 m. The plant has green variegated foliage with white spots and demonstrates less vigorous growth compared to typical Cotoneaster species.

The appearance period of round, bright scarlet fruits falls within the period from August to October. The variety was bred to increase resistance to the fire blight Erwinia amylovora and is more frequently found in catalogs under the trade name SAPHYR Green.
