Diamante F1 melon is a netted type hybrid (melone retato). The plant has medium vigor, characterized by stable flowering and good fruit set. The variety is resistant to Fusarium oxysporum races F0, F1 and F2.
The fruits have a round shape and a netted surface. The flesh is orange in color and characterized by a crunchy texture. The weight of one fruit is from 1.2 to 1.5 kg.
The variety is intended for cultivation in greenhouses with late planting dates, as well as in the open field for mid-late terms. The produce is suitable for the domestic market and export, including sales through retail chains.
