Dolcir F1 melon belongs to the category of smooth-skinned melons of the Lissio type. The fruits have an oval or round-oval shape, a cream or yellowish skin hue, and a weight from 1 to 1.5 kg. The flesh is characterized by high density, crisp texture, and a sugar content of up to 18 degrees Brix.
The plant has a powerful root system and is suitable for cultivation in open field and film tunnels. The variety shows resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1, 2) and powdery mildew (races 1, 2, 3, 5). The fruits possess long-term storage properties and are distinguished by high marketability uniformity.
