Melon Donald F1 belongs to the Galia type and is distinguished by its characteristic striped skin coloration, designated as Galia Striped Orange. Fruit weight varies from 1.5 to 2 kg, the flesh is colored orange.
The plant has high resistance to certain races of powdery mildew Podosphaera xanthii and intermediate resistance to Fusarium wilt Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. melonis. The hybrid is intended for cultivation for the purpose of sale on the fresh market.
