The Dulcinea variety is recorded in official EU vegetable catalogues and registers of protected varieties as a breeding object of the company Semillas Fitó, S.A. Detailed agronomic descriptions, such as morphological characteristics or disease resistance, are not available in open sources.
The name Dulcinea is also used as a brand for products of the company Dulcinea Farms, which markets its own hybrids, such as the Tuscan muskmelon type. This trademark is not identical to the registered European variety from the company Semillas Fitó.
