The Guernsey Conqueror variety, also known as Witte Suiker, Westlandse suiker or Honey Dew, is a late-maturing crop for protected ground. The plant has a strong stem, making it suitable for cultivation on trellises.
The fruits have a round or oval-round shape, a diameter of about 20 cm and a weight from 1.5 to 2.5 kg. The smooth skin lightens to a creamy yellow hue upon ripening. The flesh of the fruits is light green, with a sugar content of about 15%. The variety is characterized by good keeping quality and a yield of 4–5 fruits per plant.
