The Inthanon RZ F1 melon belongs to the "Golden Emerald" variety group. The fruits have a golden-orange rind with a delicate light netting and green flesh. The average fruit weight is 1.5–1.7 kg. The flesh is firm yet delicate, with a high sugar content and a pronounced aroma. The variety has long shelf life (LSL) characteristics.

The plant has strong growth vigor and is suitable for cultivation in open field and various greenhouse systems. The hybrid has high resistance to melon necrotic spot virus and Fusarium wilt (races 0,1), as well as intermediate resistance to powdery mildew (Gc:1, Px:2,5).
