The Marimba F1 hybrid belongs to mid-early Charentais type varieties, characterized by a fine netting on the rind and distinct sutures. The plant is characterized by good vigor and high productivity. The average weight of a single fruit is 1.2–1.5 kg.
The flesh of the fruits has an intense orange color, possesses a crunchy texture and a sugar content at the level of 14–15° Brix. The variety shows resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 0-2) and powdery mildew. The hybrid is intended for cultivation in greenhouses and plastic tunnels, preferably for obtaining an early harvest.
