The variety is mid-season, the period from germination to fruit harvest is 85–100 days. The plant has medium vine length with vigorous growth. The fruit has an oval or ellipsoidal shape and a weight from 1.8 to 4 kg.
The fruit rind is thick, firm, and dark green in color with spots and stripes. The flesh is cream or white, juicy, with a sugar content of 13–14% Brix. The variety is adapted for cultivation in open field and greenhouses, and shows resistance to drought conditions.
The variety is intended for fresh consumption and is valued for excellent transportability and long shelf life, due to which it is known as the "Christmas melon". It belongs to the group of inodorus type varieties.
