The hybrid belongs to the reticulated melon group and is intended for commercial cultivation. It is frequently used in agrotechnical experiments to study the effect of grafting on various rootstocks, yield, and nitrogen use efficiency.

Scientific publications note that sugar and dry matter content in fruits may vary depending on the rootstock type. At an early age, plants show susceptibility to bacterial necrosis caused by Pseudomonas viridiflava, which is why grafting onto interspecific squash hybrids is used as a method to improve adaptation to soil conditions.
