The variety belongs to the Charentais-type cantaloupe group and is a stable population, not a hybrid. The growing period is 70–80 days. The plant is adapted for cultivation both in the open field and under film covers, and is distinguished by its endurance and resistance to Fusarium wilt (races 0, 1, 2).
The fruits have a round shape, a diameter of 12–15 cm, and a weight of about 1 kg. The rind is smooth or has a light netting, with a light-green hue. The flesh is intensely orange in color, characterized by high sugar content and a pronounced aroma. In official catalogs, it is often considered a synonym for the variety Védrantais.
