Superstar F1 melon belongs to the Italian netted type. Fruits have a round, segmented shape with a netted-ribbed surface. Fruit weight varies on average from 1.6 to 2.3 kg, the seed cavity is small, the flesh is bright orange with a pronounced aroma and high sugar content.
The hybrid is early-ripening with a growing period of 60–65 days. It is resistant to Fusarium wilt (Fom:2) and high temperatures. The plant is characterized by plasticity and adaptability to various types of soils and climatic conditions, suitable for cultivation in open field and protected cultivation.
The fruits are distinguished by uniformity, good keeping quality, and transportability. The harvest is intended for fresh consumption as well as for use in the food industry.
