The melon fruits have a round or slightly high-round shape. The surface is covered with a light netting, and the color changes from green to light-yellow during the ripening process. The flesh of the fruit is light-green, described as melting, and possesses a high sugar content.
The variety is thermophilic and intended for cultivation in glass or plastic greenhouses and hotbeds. The plants can be grown either on the ground or vertically on trellises, using pinching of side shoots. The flowers require pollination by insects.
Historically, the variety is known in the Netherlands as a traditional one for protected cultivation. The variety shows susceptibility to some pathogens; data on resistance to specific diseases as a key characteristic is absent.
