The plant is a long-vine type cucumber requiring cultivation on trellises or supports. The variety is recommended for cultivation in greenhouses or under film covers to provide protection from cold.

The fruits are cylindrical in shape and reach a length of 15–20 cm. The fruit surface is smooth; at the beginning of development the color is pale green, as it ripens the skin becomes creamy white. The flesh is tender, crisp, sweet in taste, has good digestibility, and rarely turns bitter.

The variety is intended for fresh consumption as a salad cucumber. It is adapted for home gardening and is maintained in genetic bank collections as a traditional variety in the public domain.
