The plant is a vigorously growing vine reaching a height of 2–3 meters when using supports. The variety is suitable for cultivation both in open field and in greenhouse conditions.

The fruits are distinguished by their great length, ranging from 30 to 60 cm, and a characteristic slightly curved shape. The fruit skin is thin, smooth, sometimes with small spines. The flesh is sweet, non-bitter, and contains few seeds.

The variety is an heirloom and is intended for fresh consumption. Depending on the producer, both the original varietal form and selective F1-hybrids with modified flowering type and increased disease resistance are found on the market.
