Plants of this variety are characterized by vigorous vegetative development and a prevalence of the female flowering type, in which one to three female flowers are formed in a single node. The fruits have a slender cylindrical shape, dark green color with lighter ends, small tubercles, and weakly expressed furrows. The length-to-width ratio is about 2.7:1, and the average fruit weight varies between 80–90 grams.
The variety is intended primarily for canning and pickling. Cultivation requires the selection of well-lit, wind-protected areas with fertile, moist soil and the application of intensive fertilization. The yield of the variety is estimated as high, with an average early harvest of about 40 tons per hectare.
