The variety belongs to the lemon cucumber group, also known as 'Crystal Apple'. It is a vining plant with high growth vigor, with vine lengths reaching 2–5 meters, which requires the use of supports or trellises.

The ripening period is about 65 days. The fruits have a rounded or oval shape with a diameter of 6–8 cm. The skin of the fruits is thin, the flesh is succulent and sweetish. It is recommended to harvest the fruits at the light green stage or at the beginning of yellowing.

The plant has good adaptability to various conditions, including heat tolerance, and natural resistance to a number of diseases. The variety is an heirloom, does not belong to F1 hybrids, and is therefore suitable for collecting its own seeds.
