Columna F1 is a parthenocarpic semi-early hybrid that does not require pollination. The plant is characterized by a high fruiting capacity, has large five-lobed leaves with long petioles, and strong tendrils on the stem.

The fruits have a cylindrical slightly ribbed shape, reach a mass of 450–600 g with a length of 25–35 cm and a diameter of 4–5 cm. The fruit development period is about 20 days after flowering. The hybrid is intended for vertical cultivation on trellises in greenhouses and solariums.

The plant possesses high resistance to powdery mildew, Cucumber mosaic virus, and Cladosporium cucumerinum, as well as intermediate resistance to Cucumber vein yellowing virus.
