Componist F1 is an early-maturing hybrid with a maturity period of 40 to 50 days. The plant is of the generative type, characterized by high vigor and medium height. The fruits are dark green, large-tubercled gherkins of cylindrical shape with white pubescence, 8–12 cm in length and 70–95 g in weight.
The fruits are distinguished by firm and crisp flesh without cavities or bitterness. The hybrid is characterized by a high yield of marketable produce and versatility of use, including fresh consumption, pickling, and salting. It is suitable for cultivation in protected and open ground, as well as in summer-autumn crop rotation.
The plant possesses genetic resistance to powdery mildew and scab, as well as tolerance to cucumber mosaic virus and resistance to lodging.
