Variety description

The variety is mid-early, the period from germination to fruiting is 39–45 days. The plant is semi-vining, the main stem reaches a length of 1.5–2 m, branched, with medium-sized leaves.

The fruits (zelentsy) have a cylindrical shape, a coarsely tuberculate surface, a length of 9–11 cm, and a weight of 80–90 g. The flesh is juicy, crunchy, and without bitterness. The dry matter content is about 4.11%, total sugar is 2.26%, and ascorbic acid is 9.69 mg/100 g.

The variety possesses relative resistance to downy mildew. The fruits retain their green color for 8–10 days after harvest. The variety is of universal use, suitable for fresh consumption, pickling, and canning, recommended for the Forest-Steppe and Polissya regions of Ukraine.
