Gunnar F1 is an early-ripening parthenocarpic hybrid with a vegetation period from germination to fruiting of 38–45 days. The plant is characterized by a vigorous growth type, open structure, and good shade tolerance.

The fruits have a cylindrical shape and a dark green color without light stripes. The length of the cucumbers is 12–14 cm, and the weight varies from 100 to 150 g. The fruits possess high marketability and are not prone to deformation when overgrowing.

The hybrid possesses resistance to Cladosporium cucumerinum, powdery mildew, cucumber mosaic virus, and cucumber vein yellowing virus. It is intended for fresh consumption and canning, suitable for plastic and glass greenhouses, as well as open fields.
