Fason F1 is an early parthenocarpic hybrid with elongated cylindrical fruits. The length to width ratio is 2.9–3:1. The fruit skin is green with light longitudinal stripes reaching up to one-third of the length; the surface is covered with small warts with white spines.

The fruits are firm, not prone to yellowing or deformation, and genetically contain no bitterness. The variety possesses high resistance to downy mildew and ensures a high marketable yield. It is intended for fresh consumption, canning, and pickling.
