ActiveCucumis sativus L. · Cucumber
Monstanto Vegetable, NL
10 August 2026
The hybrid is mid-season; the period from germination to the beginning of fruiting is 60–70 days. The plant has a moderately developed leaf canopy and is sensitive to moisture deficit and cold. When grown in greenhouses, it requires access for pollinating insects.
The fruits have a slender shape, which they maintain even when overripe; their length is 9–11 cm. The surface is dark green, with sparse tubercles and dense white spines. The flavor of the fruits is delicate; bitterness is absent at the genetic level.
The hybrid possesses resistance to cucumber mosaic virus, powdery mildew, and black root rot. Significant field resistance to downy mildew is noted.
