Fruits of the variety are characterized by a dark skin color and are used primarily for fresh consumption. The plant requires mandatory pruning/training during growth.
In international practice, the Femdan variety is often used as a reference sample during variety trials to evaluate various morphological traits, including peduncle length.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
