Gefest F1 is an indeterminate, medium-branching hybrid with a female flowering type that does not require insect pollination. The period from seedling emergence to the beginning of harvest is 45–55 days. From 2 to 3 female flowers form in each node.

The fruits are cylindrical with a medium-tuberculate and medium-ribbed green surface. The average weight of one fruit is about 200 g. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses in smallholder farming conditions.
