The Gemini hybrid is an early slicing cucumber characterized by predominantly female flowering. The plant was bred by W. C. Barnes at the Clemson University research station in the USA and is recommended for cultivation in northern regions and mountainous areas.
The variety possesses resistance to scab, cucumber mosaic virus, and powdery mildew. Moderate resistance to downy mildew, anthracnose, and angular leaf spot is also noted.
