The variety is the result of crossing the Straight 8 and Vaughan varieties. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is from 50 to 65 days. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and is suitable for various cultivation methods.

The fruits have an elongated-cylindrical shape, smooth or slightly warty dark green skin, and juicy, crisp flesh with a sweetish taste. The variety is adapted to high temperature and humidity conditions.

Intended primarily for fresh consumption, however, it is suitable for pickling if harvested as immature fruits. The crop requires regular watering and fertile soil.
