The Mercury F1 hybrid is early-maturing; the period to the beginning of fruiting is 53–55 days. The plant is of the gynoecious type and forms fruits with the participation of pollinator bees.

The 'Beit Alpha' type fruits have a cylindrical shape, dark green color, and reach 14–16 cm in length with a diameter of 3 cm. The hybrid possesses complex resistance to powdery mildew and a number of viruses: cucumber mosaic, zucchini yellow mosaic, watermelon mosaic, and papaya ringspot.
